Services
Every garden is different. So is every package.
No two yards are the same, and no two clients want the same thing. We work with you to build a service package around your specific space and goals. Below is what we offer — but the best way to get started is to tell us what you're looking for.
Core Services
These are our primary offerings. Each one can stand alone or be combined into a custom package tailored to your property and goals.
Site Consultation
$150 – $250
We visit your property, walk the space with you, and assess what you're working with. This is the foundation everything else builds on.
- 1-2 hour on-site property assessment
- Sun and shade observation across your growing areas
- Soil sample collection and professional lab analysis
- Soil test results uploaded to your client portal with notes specific to your yard
- Wind, drainage, and microclimate evaluation
- Written summary of findings and recommendations
Garden Design
Priced per project
A custom planting plan built around your site consultation results, your goals, and what grows well in your specific conditions.
- Custom planting plan for your space and goals
- Variety recommendations based on your soil and microclimate
- Companion planting strategy
- Succession planting schedule to extend your harvest window
- Seasonal planting calendar tailored to your zone
Garden Build & Prep
Based on scope
We prepare your growing space and get it planted. If you have existing beds, containers, or in-ground areas, we handle the soil, amendments, irrigation, and planting. We're horticulturists, not carpenters — we make things grow.
- Soil preparation and amendments based on your soil test
- Irrigation planning and setup
- Initial planting and transplanting
- Bed prep for existing raised beds, containers, or in-ground plots
- Mulching, composting, and soil biology management
Private Estate Consulting
Custom engagement
Consulting for larger properties and estates looking to establish or improve edible production. We design the growing program, advise on crop selection, build planting schedules, and set up data tracking — so your team can execute with confidence.
- Growing program design for estate-scale properties
- Greenhouse crop planning including citrus, tropical, and subtropical varieties
- Seasonal crop rotation and succession planting schedules
- Variety selection and performance benchmarking
- Data tracking setup and ongoing reporting
Greenhouse Consulting
Varies by project
Year-round growing is possible with the right setup. We design growing plans for heated or unheated greenhouses, from cold-hardy greens through winter to tropical fruits and citrus.
- Year-round greenhouse growing plan
- Crop scheduling and rotation for continuous production
- Citrus, tropical, and subtropical crop consulting
- Climate management (heating, ventilation, humidity)
- Season extension techniques for unheated structures
Data & Tracking
This is what sets us apart. We don't just plant and leave — we measure, record, and learn from every season so the next one is better.
Variety Performance Tracking
We record which varieties perform best in your specific yard — yield, flavor, disease resistance, days to harvest. Over time, we build a profile of what works reliably for you.
Growing Metrics
Planting dates, germination rates, days to maturity, plant health observations. All logged and available in your client portal.
Soil Test Results & History
Your soil lab results uploaded with our notes and recommendations. Track how your soil changes year over year as we build it up.
Post-Harvest Weights & Yield
Every harvest weighed and recorded by variety and bed. Know exactly how much food your garden produces and which crops earn their space.
Season Reports
End-of-season analysis: what worked, what didn't, what to change next year. Data-backed recommendations, not guesswork.
Client Portal Access
All your data in one place. Soil results, harvest logs, variety performance, seasonal reports. View it anytime.
Ongoing Plans
The longer we work together, the more we learn about your yard. Season two is always better than season one. We're developing ongoing service plans for clients who want continuous support, regular visits, and year-round data tracking.
Coming soon
We're currently shaping our ongoing service tiers based on what clients actually need. If you're interested in recurring visits, seasonal management, or year-round data tracking, let us know in your inquiry — it helps us build the right plans.
Ongoing plans will include options for regular site visits, continuous growing management, harvest tracking, variety optimization, and full client portal access with season-over-season analysis.
Common Questions
Do you use any pesticides?
No. We do not use pesticides of any kind, synthetic or organic. We rely on variety selection, companion planting, biodiversity, crop rotation, and physical barriers like row covers to manage pests and disease.
I have never grown vegetables before. Is this service for me?
Absolutely. We work with complete beginners and experienced growers alike. The site consultation is designed to assess your space and goals so we can build a plan that matches your experience level.
Do you build raised beds?
We are horticulturists, not carpenters. We prepare and manage existing beds, containers, and in-ground plots -- soil prep, amendments, irrigation, and planting. If you need beds built, we can recommend local builders.
What does data tracking actually mean?
We record every planting -- variety, date, bed location, soil conditions. At harvest, we log weight and quality. We also track irrigation, soil test results, and environmental conditions. Over time, this data shows exactly what works best in your specific yard.
How far do you travel?
We serve Greater Plymouth and Southeast Massachusetts including Duxbury, Kingston, Marshfield, Carver, Middleborough, Lakeville, and the greater Boston area. If you are not sure, reach out and we will let you know.
Can you help with greenhouse growing?
Yes. We design year-round growing plans for heated and unheated greenhouses, including citrus, tropical fruit, and season extension for cool-weather crops. This is a particular area of expertise.
Your yard. Your goals. Your package.
Every property is unique and every client has different goals. Rather than picking from a fixed menu, tell us what you're looking for and we'll put together a package that fits.
Include what you want to grow, your skill level, and anything else that helps us understand what you need. We'll take it from there.
